The pay is not great. You can definitely earn more elsewhere. So if that's a big factor, don't apply.
Don't Apply If...
You're not opinionated. You must have strong opinions, albeit weakly held. If you don't have anything to say, don't apply.
You don't think from first principles. If you don't know what this means, don't apply.
You lack taste. High standards matter. If you're unsure whether you have good taste or high standards, don't apply.
You're sending a CV. Don't send a Git repo. We don't really care about your CV. Experience is overrated. Show us a product you've built. Preferably in an impressive, low-effort, easy-to-consume format. If this sounds like too much effort, don't apply.
You can't hustle. Embrace discomfort. This is an early stage startup. Your application is unlikely to be reviewed. Those that think outside the box will increase their probability of being considered. If you can't hustle, don't apply.
You're anxious about building in public. We're building in public. Your job is to build product, not promote it. However, you should be comfortable sharing and showcasing what you've built, even when it's not perfect. If you feel anxious at the thought of this, don't apply.
You wait to be told what to do. Never settle. You should lead, not wait. You're dissatisfied with the status quo. If you need direction, don't apply.
You avoid challenge. Resilience is key. Building a startup is tough and a hard slog. It's not for everyone. If heat and kitchen aren't in your lexicon, don't apply.
You're not actually full-stack. You should be a full-stack engineer in the broadest sense of the term. You're going to write all of the code and keep it secure. If you can't handle this responsibility, don't apply.
You don't think in systems. We scale by design. We're systems thinkers. We automate. We're building a product to serve millions of users. But we're just getting started, we're building the product to build the company. If you're put off by this, don't apply.
Pace scares you. Speed is our friend. When the pedal is to the floor and we can't go faster, we optimize the drag coefficient and consider building a more powerful engine. If pace is scary, don't apply.
You can't work 18-18-12. If you didn't get that joke, you probably shouldn't don't apply.
You can't work Irish hours. We're remote first and location agnostic. But be prepared to be available during Irish working hours.
You're "normal." Diversity matters. We embrace different in all senses of the word. So if you would describe yourself as normal, don't apply.
You take yourself too seriously. At TSKR, we enjoy the craic (Irish word for fun). If you are boring, don't apply.

Show us a product.
Something you're proud of. Something that demonstrates taste, hustle and capability. In whatever format makes it impressive and easy to consume.
It doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't have to be deployed to thousands of users. It just has to show us how you think and build.
